Fruit Spas: Fruits, Faith, and the Warmth of Our Community
On Sunday morning, at the Divine Liturgy in the Chapel, under the spiritual leadership of Father Jaroslaw and Father Vitaliy, more than 100 faithful gathered together. It was especially touching and joyful to hear the lively, cheerful laughter of so many children.
Fruit Spas is the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord, when Christ revealed His divine glory to His disciples on Mount Tabor. It is a beautiful and heartfelt reminder that God gives us His gifts every day — the fruits of the earth, the people He places in our lives, and the small moments of joy for which we simply want to say, “Thank You, God.”
Many parishioners came forward for the Sacrament of Confession, and many children received Holy Communion — something that could not help but inspire and warm our hearts. At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, baskets of fruit were blessed. Afterwards, Father Jaroslaw invited everyone to stay for coffee and conversation. In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, parishioners enjoyed relaxed fellowship and unhurried companionship. Our dedicated team of faithful volunteers prepared delicious refreshments for everyone. We extend our heartfelt thanks to them for their service, kindness, and generosity, and ask God’s blessing upon them.
May our hearts be transformed along with the blessing of the fruits — becoming brighter, more grateful, kinder, and more open to God and to one another.

Фруктовий Спас: плоди, віра та тепло нашої спільноти
Божественна літургія, духовно очолена отцем Ярославом та отцем Віталієм, що припала на наступний день після Другого Спасу, зібрала понад 100 вірян. Особливо щемко і радісно чути багатоголосий та веселий дитячий сміх.
Фруктовий Спас — це свято Преображення Господнього, коли Христос на горі Фавор відкрив Своїм учням Свою Божественну славу. Дуже тепле нагадування про те, що Бог щодня дає нам свої дари — і плоди землі, і людей поруч, і маленькі моменти радості, за які хочеться просто сказати: “Дякую, Боже”.
Чимало вірян приступили до таїнства сповіді, багато дітлахів прийшли до причастя, що не може не надихати. Наприкінці літургії відбулося освячення кошиків з фруктами. Потім отець Ярослав запросив усіх на кавування та щиру розмову. У теплій атмосфері парафіяни дружньо і неспішно вели бесіди. Команда відданих волонтерів організовувала смачні перекуски, за що їм окрема подяка та благословення.
Нехай разом із освяченням наших плодів преображається і наше серце — стає світлішим, вдячнішим, добрішим і відкритішим до Бога та до людей.
