Children’s Art Contest Announcement • Конкурс дитячого малюнку
Dear Parents and Children,
During the Prayer Service for the Beginning of the New School Year, which took place on September 7th at the Oakville Chapel, the launch of a children’s art contest on the theme “Guardian Angel of Ukraine” was officially announced.
We warmly invite all children who attend our Cathedral or Chapel to take part in this creative and prayerful initiative.
Drawings can be submitted to the Chapel by the end of September!
Through their drawings, children will have the opportunity to express their faith, hope, and love for Ukraine, and show how they envision the spiritual protection of our people during these challenging times.
The contest results will be announced on the Feast of the Protection (Pokrova) — a day of deep spiritual meaning for the Ukrainian people, celebrating divine intercession, Cossack glory, and the ongoing struggle for freedom, from the UPA to the present day.
May children’s hearts, inspired by God’s grace, give us images of Angels watching over Ukraine.
We eagerly look forward to receiving children’s artwork filled with light, hope, and prayer!
Оголошення конкурсу дитячого малюнку “Янгол-охоронець України”
Дорогі батьки та діти!
Під час Молебню з нагоди початку нового навчального року, що відбувся 7 вересня, було урочисто оголошено конкурс дитячого малюнку на тему - “Янгол-охоронець України”.
Запрошуємо усіх дітей, які відвідують нашу Катедру чи Каплицю, взяти участь у цьому творчому та молитвенному задумі.
Малюнки можна приносити до Каплиці до кінця вересня!
Через малюнок діти зможуть висловити свою віру, надію та любов до України, показати, як вони бачать духовний захист нашого народу у важкий час.
Підбиття підсумків конкурсу та оголошення результатів відбудеться на свято Покрови Пресвятої Богородиці, яке має особливе значення для українського народу у день духовного заступництва, козацької слави та боротьби за свободу — від УПА до сьогодення.
Нехай дитячі серця, натхнені Божою благодаттю, подарують нам образ Янгола, який береже Україну.
З нетерпінням чекаємо дитячих творів, сповнених світла, надії та молитви!
