4 Subcommittees Launched to Support Centennial Planning Efforts

The St Volodymyr Centennial Planning Committee is pleased to announce that we have launched 4 of our Subcommittees. We would like to thank the many volunteers who have offered their time and energy to help make this important celebration a success.

• Our Historical Projects Subcommittee is busy collecting photos and digitizing some historical films, documenting our history, planning interviews with individuals who have contributed significantly to our Cathedral's story, and preparing a special 2026 Calendar.

• The Commemorative Items Subcommittee has identified a number of customized items that will be made available for purchase by early 2026 to support our Centennial's fundraising efforts and provide meaningful mementos of this important milestone in our Cathedral's history.

• Our Monthly Features and Events Subcommittee is busy planning a series of memorable events for parishioners with a special focus on children and families.

• Our Outreach, Communications and Fundraising Subcommittee will be focused on creating awareness about our Centennial celebrations including developing a dedicated website, while aiming to also secure funds from various sources.

We are inspired by the many ideas that are being suggested and together look forward to turning these plans into reality. Updates on our progress will continue to be shared.
