100 Years. 100 Voices. One Community.
✧ Every voice matters ✧ Every story is part of our history ✧
As we celebrate the Centennial of St Volodymyr Cathedral of Toronto, we are excited to begin gathering the voices of our community for a special Centennial video project — “100 Years. 100 Voices. One Community.”
For 100 years, our Cathedral has been shaped by generations of people, families, memories, traditions, faith, and community. Now, we want to hear your voice.
Today, we are honoured to open our Centennial Voices project with former choir director, Pan Nestor Olynyk, whose life and memories are deeply connected with St Volodymyr Cathedral.
Pan Nestor generously shared his memories and emotions with us, reminding us that the history of our Cathedral is not only found in archives and photographs — it lives in the people who have been part of our community.
His voice is the first. Now, we invite you to join the story.
Tell us what St Volodymyr Cathedral means to you. Share a memory, a family tradition, or your hopes for its future. Your answers will become part of a special video bringing together many generations and many stories into one community voice that will be featured at our Centennial Gala Celebration.
Together, we will preserve the voices of different generations and tell the story of our Cathedral through the people who have made it their spiritual home. We invite everyone — longtime parishioners and those who have only recently joined our community — to take part, including children, youth, parents, and grandparents.
