Meet The 2026 Ukrainian Art Song Summer Institute Participants
We are thrilled to introduce the nine outstanding artists selected for the eighth Ukrainian Art Song Summer Institute, taking place August 10–16, 2026, at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.
This year's cohort includes eight vocalists and one pianist, each bringing exceptional talent and a passion for Ukrainian art song. Throughout the week, participants will explore the works of distinguished Ukrainian composers, receive intensive coaching from our renowned faculty, and develop their artistry through performance opportunities.
One of the highlights of this year’s program is the participation of internationally acclaimed Canadian baritone Brett Polegato, who will share his expertise in two exclusive masterclasses as a guest teacher.
