Important Parking & Access Information

Road Closures - Sunday, October 18, 2026

Please be advised that Bathurst Street will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 18, due to the Toronto Waterfront Marathon.

To assist parishioners attending services and the Centennial celebrations at St. Volodymyr Cathedral, 400 Bathurst Street, we have prepared several recommended driving routes that take the marathon closures into consideration.

Parking at the Cathedral coming from the West:
Parishioners approaching from the Dundas Street or College Street areas can follow the designated routes to access the Cathedral parking lot:

If the Cathedral parking lot is full:
An alternative is the paid underground parking facility at 410 Bathurst Street, which can be accessed from College Place. Please watch for volunteers who will be directing drivers to this alternative parking location.

Coming from the East:
Parishioners travelling from the east are advised to use the Dundas Street East direction and follow the recommended route toward Nassau Street, where street parking may be available. Click here to open the PDF

Please allow extra time for travel and parking, follow the directions of traffic volunteers, and plan your route.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to make access to the Cathedral as convenient as possible during the marathon road closures.

All recommended routes have been prepared with consideration of the Toronto Waterfront Marathon route and the associated road closures.
