Major Road and Highway Closures (May 17, 2026)
Highway 401 Westbound Express: All lanes will be closed between Avenue Road and Jane Street from 11 p.m. on May 13 until 5 a.m. on May 17.
Highway 427 Northbound: One alternating lane will be closed between Browns Line and Queensway Avenue from 10 p.m. on May 12 until 5 a.m. on May 17.
Highway 400 Northbound: One alternating lane will be closed between Maple Leaf Drive (Toronto) and Canal Road (Bradford) from 7 p.m. on May 12 until 5 a.m. on May 17.
Queen Street West: Closed from Bay Street to York Street for the entire day until 8 p.m. for a Sikh festival, starting from 5 a.m.
Downtown Core Closures: Beginning at 12 p.m. and lifting around 4 p.m., closures will be in place on Bay Street (Dundas St W to Front St), Wellington Street (Yonge St to University Ave), and University Avenue (Front St to Dundas St W).
Queens Park: Overnight work reducing lanes on Queens Park south of Bloor Street West concludes on May 17.
Ongoing Construction Restrictions
Gardiner Expressway: Westbound from Park Lawn Road to Grand Avenue is reduced from four lanes to three.
Park Lawn Road: Northbound and southbound left lanes are occupied daily, overnight, until June 30, 2026.
Lake Shore Boulevard: Westbound right lane occupied at Park Lawn Road.
TTC Disruptions (Sunday, May 17)
Line 2 Subway: No service between St. George and Pape Stations on Sunday, May 17, for construction. Shuttle buses will operate
