Перекриття доріг у неділю
There are no scheduled FIFA World Cup matches in Toronto on June 21, 2026, so the strict match-day lockdowns will not be active. However, ongoing construction closures and local restrictions near the waterfront and highways will still impact traffic.
Major Highway Maintenance
Expect the following overnight closures for scheduled roadwork:
Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW): Nightly Fort Erie-bound alternating lane closures between The East Mall (Toronto) and Bronte Road (Oakville) from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Highway 409: Nightly westbound alternating lane closures between Highway 401 and Highway 427 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Highway 427: Nightly northbound express alternating lane closures between Burnhamthorpe Road and Finch Avenue from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Event and Construction Restrictions
Exhibition Place & Waterfront: Local access restrictions and ongoing roadwork associated with the FIFA mobility plan are active across Liberty Village and the southwest downtown core.
General Congestion: General detours are common around the city during the summer tournament period. You can view real-time adjustments on the City of Toronto Road Restrictions & Closures page.
