Palm Sunday at the Chapel (Photos)
On this exceptionally festive day, we warmly welcomed the many guests of the Chapel who attended the Divine Liturgy under the spiritual leadership of the Bishop. We also extend our heartfelt greetings to the numerous faithful-dozens of whom came to partake in the Holy Mysteries of Confession and Communion. Due to the high number of penitents, Otets Jaroslaw was unable to hear everyone’s confession without haste; therefore, he kindly invited all to come for confession during Holy Week or after the Resurrection of Christ.
In his sermon, the Bishop offered words that encouraged us to once again reflect on the commandments of Jesus. He was welcomed into Jerusalem with palm branches laid at His feet. The crowd regarded Him as their King, yet only four days later, that same multitude betrayed Him and crucified Him on the Cross. Even His Resurrection on the third day did not fully teach humanity the heights of spiritual and moral integrity. Therefore, addressing those who live not only by earthly concerns but also by the values of heaven, he reminded us: let this Christian feast not be merely a ritual, but an opportunity to reflect on our very brief journey through life. The coming week is Holy Week—let us share with our loved ones and our defenders sincere deeds, intentions, and prayers that endure for a lifetime, as we seek our place in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Willow branches were blessed with holy water, and each person took one home as a symbol of unending hope. The faithful greeted one another with sincere smiles and warm words of celebration.

On April 12, Holy Easter will be celebrated, with the solemn Liturgy beginning at 8:00 AM.

Вербна Неділя у Каплиці
У цей винятково святковий день вітаємо всіх багаточисленних гостей Каплиці з відвідуванням Божественної Літургії за духовного лідерства Владики. Також всіх вірян, яких було багато десятків, що прийшли до святого таїнства сповіді та причастя. Через великий попит отцю Ярославу не всіх вдалося вислухати без поспіху, тому він запросив всіх до сповіді упродовж Страсного тижня чи вже опісля Христового Воскресіння.
У проповіді Єпископа звучали слова, що спонукали замислитися вчергове над заповітами Ісуса. Його вітали в Єрусалимі, стелячи до ніч пальмове листя. Натовп люду вважав Його Царем своїм, а вже через 4 дні ця ж юрба Його зрадила, розіпʼявши на Хресті. І навіть Його Воскресіння на третій день не навчило людство високої духовності та моральної вертикалі. Тому, звертаючись до тих, хто живе не лише категоріями землі, а й категоріями неба: нехай це християнське свято буде для нас не ритуалом, а способом замислитися над нашою дуже короткою подорожжю життєвою. Наступний тиждень — страсний. Ділімося з нашими рідними, нашими захисниками — щирими вчинками і діями, помислами та молитвами, довжиною у життя, за місце у Царстві Небесному.
Гілки верби були освячені святою водою. Кожен присутній взяв собі додому символ безкінечної надії. Віряни вітали одне одного зі святом щирою посмішкою та словами.
Також у фойє були розміщені сувенірні товари, присвячені сторіччю парафії; приймалися замовлення. Крім того, можна здійснити замовлення за посиланням: Завітайте до нашого нового інтернет-магазину!
Наприкінці святкової літургії Отець Ярослав нагадав про служби Божі в Чистий четвер о 18:00, Страсну пʼятницю о 18:00 — Виніс Плащаниці, а також Освячення пасок о 17:00 та Пасхальна Полуношниця о 18:00. 12 квітня — Святий Великдень. Урочиста літургія розпочнеться о 8:00.
А вже через тиждень після Великодня, 19 квітня, відбудеться святковий Потлак — Спільне Свячене після служби Божої. Запрошуємо всіх доєднатися до спільного святкового столу у колі нашої парафіяльної родинної громади! До скорої зустрічі!
