Our Sokil Summer Camp week for youth has come to an end
Here’s another update from our Summer Camp 2026 season! Our 13–16 age group has just wrapped up an unforgettable week at camp. Parents picked up their children the day after we celebrated the Feast of the Holy Maccabean Martyrs (Honey Feast Day) on August 1.
Throughout the week, campers had the chance to build new friendships, strengthen their teamwork skills, and enjoy spending time together in a welcoming Ukrainian community. Their days were filled with outdoor adventures, games, and fun team activities that kept everyone active and engaged.
Next Sunday, our final camp session begins for the oldest age group. This week has been generously gifted by the camp organizers to the children of our parish. It will mark the conclusion of another wonderful summer of camp, and we'll take the opportunity to reflect on everything we've shared and express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make this dream a reality—giving so many children the chance to spend part of their summer at a Ukrainian camp.

Тиждень у таборі “Сокіл” для юнацтва добіг кінця
Маємо чергову порцію новин про таборове літо 2026: юнацтво 13–16 років вже провело тиждень у таборі. Батьки мали нагоду їх забрати наступного дня після Медового Спасу, який ми святкували 1 серпня.
Діти отримали новий досвід спілкування та взаємодії з ровесниками. Провели досхочу часу на свіжому повітрі серед ігор та активних командних занять.
Вже наступної неділі стартує фінальний тиждень табору для старшої вікової групи, подарований організаторами табору дітям парафії. На цьому ми поставимо крапку цього захоплюючого проєкту та підібʼємо підсумки, висловимо всі вдячності тим, хто втілив у життя мрію багатьох дітей: провести літні канікули в українському таборі.
А поки запрошуємо переглянути фото тижня, що відбувся, та літургії заключного дня, яка вже стала невідʼємним атрибутом перебування юних парафіян у “Соколі”.
