Christmas Decorating at the Chapel (Photos)
On November 30, the day our Church celebrates the Feast of Saint Andrew the First-Called, a traditional Sunday Divine Liturgy was held in the Chapel, led by Father Vasyl. During the sermon, he explained why this feast is considered one of the key ones for the Ukrainian Church. After the service, parishioners enjoyed Lenten kalytа, tea, and coffee. Then the children of the parish, together with volunteers, decorated the Chapel in festive Christmas attire. It was an excellent opportunity to socialize and to rehearse the songs the children are preparing for Saint Nicholas Day!
Despite the gloomy weather outside, spending time together creatively, diligently, and in unity is always a great idea. After our shared efforts, everyone gathered for a hot pizza lunch.
Each such day shapes the unforgettable memories of our parish, for in shared prayer and good works, our community grows stronger in faith and in hope for a bright future for all of us.
May the coming Christmas season be joyful and blessed for our community, for Ukraine, and, of course, for our second home — Canada.

Прикрашання Каплиці до Зимових Свят
30 листопада, у день коли наша церква відзначає день святого апостола Андрія Первозванного, у Каплиці відбулось традиційне недільне Богослужіння за лідерства отця Василя. Під час проповіді він пояснив чому це свято є одним із ключових для української церкви. Після літургії віряни частувалися пісною калитою, чаєм та кавою, а потім діти прихожан та волонтери оздобили Каплицю в різдвяні шати. Це було чудовою нагодою поспілкуватися і повторити пісні, що діти готують на день святого Миколая!
Незважаючи на негоду за вікном згуртовано та натхненно провести творчо і плідно час разом завжди гарна ідея. Після спільної праці всі пообідали гарячою піцою.
Кожен такий день формує незабутні спогади нашої парафії, бо у спільній молитві та благій справі ми зростаємо у своїй силі та вірі у щасливе майбутнє для всіх нас.
Нехай прийдешній різдвяний сезон буде радісним і щасливим для нашої громади, України, і, звісно, нашого другого дому - Канади.
Зустрінемося вже зовсім скоро у сповненому радісних подій та цікавих івентів грудня 2025!
