We are delighted to share that our children’s art contest, held as part of the centennial celebrations of St. Volodymyr Cathedral of Toronto, has come to a close!
A total of 17 children who regularly attend the Cathedral and All Saints of Ukraine Chapel took part in this special initiative. We are pleased to announce that Olya Ternovska is the contest winner! All the other young artists were also recognized and received gift certificates to help make some of their little — yet so meaningful and heartfelt — wishes come true as we approach the magical Christmas season.
Father Jaroslaw also created a unique and poetic award title for each child, celebrating the individual talents, creativity, and artistic gifts they demonstrated through their paintings. Each child was a winner in their own special way, expressing their sincere love for our Church through art.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the children and their parents and guardians for their enthusiasm and for taking part in this meaningful initiative.
Planned and brought to life as part of the centennial celebrations of St. Volodymyr Cathedral in Toronto, this project was dedicated to the children of our parish. Our parish centennial celebration slogan, “Celebrating the past - Building our Future,” perfectly captures the vision behind the project.
Through their artwork, these young artists have left a lasting, tangible mark of their love for and connection to our Church — a precious part of our shared history, created with their own hands and hearts.
We invite you to enjoy their wonderful creations in the accompanying photos.
Dear children, we are so proud of your God-given talents and deeply cherish the heartfelt wishes you have offered to our Church!
