Blessing of mint at the Cathedral (Photos)

On Friday, August 15, the Feast of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos was solemnly celebrated at our Cathedral with the traditional blessing of mint, celebrated by Fr. Jaroslaw.
On Sunday, August 17, an additional blessing of herbs and flowers was carried out by Fr. Vasyl, allowing the faithful to once again partake in this sacred tradition.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Daria Dronova and Stanislav Kichyk, who so flawlessly organized everything for the Sunday celebration. Their dedication and efforts helped make this feast truly special for our parish family.

У п'ятницю, 15 серпня, у катедрі пройшло святкування Успіння Пресвятої Богородиці з традиційним благословенням м'яти, яке провів о. Ярослав.
У неділю, 17 серпня, о. Василь додатково освятив трави та квіти, що дозволило вірянам ще раз взяти участь у цій гарній традиції.
Ми хотіли б висловити щиру подяку Дар’ї Дроновій та Станіславу Кічику, які так бездоганно організували все для недільного святкування. Їхня відданість і зусилля допомогли зробити це свято справді особливим для нашої парафіяльної родини.
