Artists Stand With Ukraine - Благодійна Мистецька Виставка
• Exhibition: ARTISTS STAND WITH UKRAINE — a charitable art exhibition

The exhibition will run until March 8, 2026. The event is organized by the Ukrainian Association of Visual Artists of Canada (USOM) in collaboration with the Ukrainian Canadian Art Foundation (UCAF).
It is now the fourth year of Russia’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine. With anxiety, sorrow, and pain, we witness every day the events taking place on the peaceful, generous, and kind land of Ukraine. The horrors of war and the unspeakable pain of losing human lives have filled our hearts. The enemy attacks civilians daily, destroys homes, hospitals, schools, kindergartens, and public transport, and in winter deliberately damages energy systems, trying to break the brave Ukrainian people.
We sincerely invite everyone to join Tanya Ternovska and many other artists participating in this event and support Ukraine through art. It is very important for Tanya to be part of this exhibition, where she will be contributing with her artwork — a pastel on paper titled “Lybid”.The work is connected to the image of the Monument to the Founders of Kyiv (Kyi, Shchek, Khoryv, and their sister Lybid), located in Navodnytsky Park on the Dnipro River embankment. The sculpture depicts a boat with the brothers and sister sailing along the Dnipro. According to legend, Kyi, Shchek, Khoryv, and Lybid founded the city of Kyiv. This monument is one of the most recognizable symbols and a landmark of the city.
Tanya chose this image as a symbol of Kyiv, where she was born and raised, for its beauty, history, and life. The fate of this city is deeply personal and very painful for her
Today, Kyiv is under daily attacks and is one of the main targets of the war. Through her artwork, she wants to remind people about Kyiv and what is happening in Ukraine, so that the world does not forget this tragedy. She believes that our city and all of Ukraine will endure. We pray for victory and do everything we can to bring it closer as quickly as possible, so that the long-awaited peace will finally come.
The exhibition is charitable, and all proceeds from the sale of artworks will be donated to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
All artists who care about what is happening in Ukraine today and want to support it through art are welcome to join this exhibition.
Ukraine needs our support more than ever. Our soldiers, who defend our land at the cost of their lives, need our help, solidarity, and presence. Together, we bring Ukraine closer to victory!

Виставка триватиме до 8 березня 2026 року. Захід організовано Українською асоціацією образотворчих митців Канади (USOM) у співпраці з Ukrainian Canadian Art Foundation (UCAF).
Нині минає четвертий рік повномасштабної агресії Росії проти України. З тривогою, сумом і болем ми щодня спостерігаємо події, що відбуваються на мирній, щедрій і добрій українській землі. Жахи війни та невимовний біль втрати людських життів наповнили наші серця. Ворог щодня атакує мирне населення, руйнує житлові будинки, лікарні, школи, дитячі садки та громадський транспорт, а взимку навмисно пошкоджує енергетичну систему, намагаючись зламати мужній український народ.
Щиро запрошуємо всіх долучитися до Тані Терновської та багатьох інших митців, які беруть участь у цій події, і підтримати Україну через мистецтво. Для Тані надзвичайно важливо бути частиною цієї виставки, де вона представить свою роботу — пастель на папері під назвою “Либідь”.
Ця робота пов’язана з образом Пам’ятника засновникам Києва (Кию, Щеку, Хориву та їхній сестрі Либіді), що розташований у Наводницькому парку на набережній Дніпра. Скульптура зображає човен із братами та сестрою, які пливуть Дніпром. За легендою, Кий, Щек, Хорив і Либідь заснували місто Київ. Цей пам’ятник є одним із найвідоміших символів і визначних місць столиці.
Таня обрала цей образ як символ Києва — міста, де вона народилася й виросла, — за його красу, історію та життя. Доля цього міста для неї глибоко особиста і дуже болісна.
Сьогодні Київ перебуває під щоденними атаками та є однією з головних цілей війни. Своєю роботою вона прагне нагадати людям про Київ і про те, що відбувається в Україні, щоб світ не забував про цю трагедію. Вона вірить, що наше місто і вся Україна вистоять. Ми молимося за перемогу й робимо все можливе, щоб наблизити її якнайшвидше, аби нарешті настав довгоочікуваний мир.
Виставка є благодійною, і всі кошти від продажу робіт будуть передані на підтримку Збройних Сил України.
До участі у виставці запрошуються всі митці, які небайдужі до подій в Україні та хочуть підтримати її через мистецтво.
Україна потребує нашої підтримки як ніколи. Наші воїни, які ціною власного життя захищають нашу землю, потребують нашої допомоги, солідарності та присутності. Разом ми наближаємо Україну до перемоги!
