A Radiant “Night of All Saints” at the Cathedral (Photos)
On Friday, October 31, the Cathedral Hall felt especially cozy as we held the “Night of All Saints”—an evening that brought together a family atmosphere, children’s games, and a heartfelt conversation among parents.
The first part (6:00–8:00 p.m.) was devoted to introductions and games: quick icebreakers, a mini chess tournament, and, to conclude, a treasure hunt. The children joined in enthusiastically, encouraged one another, and happily received small prizes.
At the same time, parents had a warm conversation about participation in parish life, the spiritual formation of teenagers, and plans for the near future (Sunday School, youth initiatives, festive events). It was a joy to hear suggestions and see a willingness to volunteer.
During the breaks, everyone enjoyed refreshments: pizza, sweets, hot chocolate, and popcorn. The warm drinks and treats created the feeling of a true family evening.
The second part (8:00–10:00 p.m.) featured a screening of the animated film “The King of Kings.” The film helped both children and adults experience the Gospel story in a new way and reflect on the call to holiness in everyday life.
At the end of the evening, we thanked everyone who contributed to the preparation: the game leaders, the technical team (screen and projector), those who provided hospitality (hot chocolate and treats), and all who helped with seating and cleanup. Thanks to you, the “Night of All Saints” became a safe and joyful space for our children and families.

Сповнена сяйвом “Ніч усіх святих” у Катедрі
У п’ятницю, 31 жовтня, у залі катедри було по-особливому затишно: ми провели «Ніч усіх святих» — вечір, що поєднав родинну атмосферу, ігри для дітей та щиру батьківську розмову.
Першу частину (18:00–20:00) присвятили знайомствам та іграм: швидкі айсбрейкери, міні турнір із шахів, а наприкінці — пошук скарбу. Діти з ентузіазмом брали участь, підбадьорювали одне одного і раділи маленьким призам.
Паралельно батьки мали душевну розмову про участь у житті парафії, духовне виховання підлітків і плани на найближчий час (недільна школа, молодіжні ініціативи, святкові заходи). Було приємно почути пропозиції й побачити готовність долучатися як волонтери.
У перервах на всіх чекали частування: піца, домашні солодощі, гарячий шоколад і попкорн. Теплі напої та смаколики створили відчуття справжнього родинного вечора.
Друга частина (20:00–22:00) — перегляд мультфільму “The King of Kings”. Стрічка допомогла дітям і дорослим по-новому пережити євангельську історію та замислитися над покликанням до святості у щоденному житті.
Наприкінці вечора подякували всім, хто долучився до підготовки: ведучим ігор, технічній команді (екран і проєктор), тим хто приготував прийняття (гарячий шоколад, смаколики), а також тим, хто допомагав із розсадкою та прибиранням. Завдяки вам «Ніч усіх святих» стала безпечним і радісним простором для наших дітей і сімей.
