35 Years of Freedom Under God’s Blessing
On August 23, Ukraine celebrated Flag Day, and here at the All Saints of Ukraine Chapel, we came together for Divine Liturgy and a special community Potluck. On the eve of one of the most important days for every Ukrainian — Ukraine’s Independence Day — more than 100 parishioners and friends gathered as one Ukrainian family. Our children recited poems about Ukraine, and we also shared a special video featuring members of our community answering fun and interesting questions about Ukraine.
We ended our celebration by singing the Ukrainian national anthem together. It was such a meaningful and emotional moment. Ukraine lives on — and will continue to live on — as long as Ukrainians carry her in their hearts and sing her anthem with pride, even when we are far from home.
It was a truly beautiful day — warm, heartfelt, delicious, and full of that special sense of togetherness that makes our Ukrainian community so strong.
May the busy and festive month of September bring us even more beautiful moments filled with faith, friendship, Ukrainian traditions, and our wonderful community spirit.

35 років свободи під Божим благословенням
23 серпня, у день, коли Україна відзначає День Прапору, в Каплиці Всіх Святих Землі Української відбулися Божественна літургія та святковий Потлак. Напередодні найвизначнішого для кожного українця дня — Дня Незалежності України, наша родина-громада налічувала понад сто присутніх вірян. Діти декламували вірші про Україну. Було представлене відео за участю наших парафіян, в якому вони відповідали на цікаві запитання про Україну.
Наприкінці спілкування всі присутні заспівали Гімн України. Це знаково і символічно, що Україна була, є і буде, доки її прославляють, співаючи душею українці навіть так далеко за межами Батьківщини.
Свято було по-справжньому щирим, душевним, смачним та згуртованим.
Нехай насичений подіями та святами місяць вересень подарує ще більше неповторних миттєвостей у вірі, українській спільноті та самобутніх традиціях.
