SCREENING: Saint Paisios

Oct. 4 / 2026 | Innis Town Theatre

As part of the Greek International Film Festival Tour of Canada, we will be presenting SAINT PAISIOS, a feature film about the life and spiritual journey of Saint Paisios of Mount Athos, one of the most beloved modern Orthodox saints.

The film is in Greek with English subtitles, making it accessible not only to members of the Greek community, but to Orthodox Christians and audiences from many different backgrounds.

There will be three screenings on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the Innis Town Theatre at the University of Toronto.

Saint Paisios was Greek, but his life of faith, prayer, humility, and spiritual devotion transcends national and cultural boundaries. As fellow Orthodox Christians, we believe his story may have particular meaning for members of the Ukrainian Orthodox community.
