MISSING CHILD

Critical Details for Awareness:

  • Physical Description: 14-year-old Esther (known as "Esti") has been missing since the night of Friday, May 15, 2026. Esti is a white female, 5’2” tall, with a medium build and brown hair.

  • Last Seen Wearing: A long-sleeved turquoise sweater with writing on the front, and loose grey sweatpants.

  • Extreme Vulnerability: Esti is on the autism spectrum. Furthermore, she fled into the night without her phone and wearing no shoes. The search has been elevated by Toronto Police to a "Level 1 Priority"—their highest designation for a missing person.

  • Last Known Location: She was last tracked just after midnight on May 16 in North York, heading northeast near the area of Bathurst Street and Hotspur Road (just south of Highway 401). However, because she is highly social, conversational, and makes friends easily, she could be anywhere across the city or sheltering with someone.

We know that a church community is uniquely bonded by a shared commitment to look out for one another. A parishioner walking their dog, a youth group member, or a neighbor arriving for Sunday service might hold the one missing piece of the puzzle that brings Esti home.

How Your Congregation Can Act:

  1. Look and Share: Please review the attached flyer. If anyone recognizes Esti or has any security, doorbell, or dashcam footage from the North York/Hwy 401 area from May 15 onward, please contact the authorities immediately.

  2. Report Tips Safely: Toronto Police have set up a dedicated tip line specifically for her case at 647-355-4148. Tips can also be made to 911 or anonymously via Crime Stoppers.

  3. Pray: We ask that you lift Esti and her distraught parents up in your prayers—praying for her swift, safe return and for strength for those searching for her around the clock.

Thank you for your willingness to step into the gap for this family during their darkest hour. Please find the official missing person flyer attached to this email.
