Annual General Meeting Highlights

This year St. Volodymyr Cathedral of Toronto hosted an in-person Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the 2021 fiscal year on Sunday, May 15, 2022 in the Cathedral Hall.

The AGM took place after Sunday’s liturgy and a light lunch, all members in good standing were invited to take part.

After two years of virtual meetings, it was very excited to be meeting in person once again.

Additionally were given to five scholars for post-secondary studies from the St. Volodymyr Cathedral of Toronto Scholarship program. Congratulations!

Scholarship Recipients, 2022

The St. Volodymyr Cathedral of Toronto Scholarship program is designed to assist students financially to achieve their academic, professional and community leadership goals.

It also intends to help build a commitment to the growth and preservation of the Canadian Ukrainian heritage within the overall Canadian fabric.

This year, the St. Volodymyr Cathedral of Toronto Scholarship Committee, comprised of Walter Chewchuk, Katia Matkowskyj and Nick Mishchenko, had selected five individuals to receive $1,500 scholarships for post-secondary studies. The Committee believes that these five individuals are, and will continue to be, a credit to the community.

The Scholarships were awarded at this year’s AGM.
A heartfelt congratulations to all the recipients.
