FREE PILLOWS FOR PICK UP @ SVCT
Newcomers from Ukraine are welcomed to Pick-up FREE Pillows at St. Volodymyr Cathedral Hall at 400 Bathurst Street, Toronto, ON. Pick-up hours - After Divine Liturgy on Sunday and Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. This initiative was made possible by the generous donation of Casper to YSP Canada (Youth and Students for Peace), WFWP (Women’s Federation for World Peace-Canada), alongside UCMAO (Ukrainian Canadian Medical Association of Ontario Foundation). A special thanks to Yulia Tarasova (WFWP), John Koester (YSP) and SVCC's John Holuk, who rallied more than 40 volunteers for a successful Pillow Pick-up on Saturday, August 6, 2022. YSP Canada is a chapter of the International Association of Youth & Students for Peace (IAYSP), an NGO in General Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. WFWP International is a non-profit, non-governmental, international organization in General Consultative Status of ECOSOC and in association with the UN Department of Public Information.
